Go-Supa Driver Guidelines

The following guidelines were created to ensure a smooth transaction between Partners and Riders.

Go-Supa takes complaints from riders very seriously and can result in a warning or being permanently banned from the platform depending on the severity of the complaint.

Do

  • Ensure that your vehicle is always presentable. It should be clean and have an inviting aroma for riders.

  • Ensure that your vehicle has enough gas to complete any ride you may accept and is in proper working condition.

  • Obey ALL traffic laws and speed limits.

  • Be pleasant and greet your riders upon entry.

  • Initiate contact with the rider via phone and inform the rider of your Estimated Time of Arrival and manage their expectations. You can also use this opportunity to secure any details of your ride e.g., landmarks, color of the building, number of riders, luggage etc. Doing so is strongly advised as it will make your pick-up easier.

  • Do call the rider once you have arrived at the pick-up location. Allow a 5-minute grace period for the rider to enter your vehicle.
Do call the rider if they do not enter your vehicle within 5 minutes of you arriving at the location. Advise them of their options.

    1. start the ride and wait or,

    2. cancel the ride and have them request another driver. Allow the rider to make the

  • Ensure that your music is not loud or offensive and your AC level is comfortable for the rider.

  • Always place your phone in the phone holder and use a car charger to ensure your phone’s battery is always charged.

  • Wear proper attire, no vests, no shorts, no slippers; remember slippers are a safety risk when operating a vehicle.

Do NOT

  • Fraternize with riders! Refrain from contacting riders after a ride is completed for personal reasons. If an item belonging to the rider was forgotten in your vehicle, contact the Go-Supa support and we will make the necessary arrangements to have the item returned.

  • Attempt to contact a rider if a ride request was cancelled. A rider is allowed 5 minutes from requesting a ride to cancel should they so choose. This can be done while the driver is already en route once it is within the 5-minute period.

  • Play loud or offensive music or talk shows during the ride. Your preference may not be that of your rider and we wish to provide a pleasurable experience for them.

  • Haggle with riders about fares, accept the fare as shown on the app. If there is an issue, contact Go-Supa 24/7 support for assistance.

  • Take routes contrary to the navigation system or deliberately drive slowly unless the rider instructs you to do so. Do not take rider anywhere against their will.

  • Discriminate against riders based on payment method, race, gender, or perceived sexual preference. It is well within your rights to decline a trip if you feel unsafe or deem a rider may cause damage to your vehicle.

  • Pick up riders with other passengers in your vehicle. Go-Supa’s service should never be compromised by driving for competing apps.

  • Drive under the influence of anything; alcohol, pharmaceuticals etc.

  • Drive while tired or sleepy. This is for your safety as well as that of our riders. It has been proven that sleep deprivation has a similar effect as drinking and driving.

  • Solicit Go-Supa’s riders for private driving jobs and/or for any other ride sharing company.
